History
The Regency Club was founded in 1981 by David H. Murdock to provide the utmost in quality, elegance, and service in the environment of a private membership club. Since its opening, the club has become an extension of members’ homes, offering a comfortable atmosphere where business associates and families alike can gather.
The Regency Club has hosted dignitaries of all types, including U.S. presidents, foreign heads of state, ambassadors, governors, senators, congressmen and congresswomen, mayors, and community and industry leaders.
The club's rooms are traditionally furnished with English antiques, Flemish tapestries, and objets d’art and original paintings from around the world. A terrace with sweeping city and ocean views adds to the club’s residential ambiance.
